Community Organizations Show Ford How They “Go Further”
In order to celebrate Drive 4 UR School and Drive 4 UR Community reaching one million test-drives and raising over $20 million in donations, Ford invited participating organizations to send in photos illustrating how they go further for their community.
Douglas Community Services has been supporting people of all ages for the past 40 years. Their programs range from child development and education to senior skill-sharing and an emergency food pantry. Just like Ford and Drive 4 UR Community, as long as there’s a need, DCS will be there to fill it.
Community groups created videos to show how a Ford Transit Connect, courtesy of Drive 4 UR Community and Ford, could help their organization go further. Community Aid Elk River in Elk River, Minnesota, made an entertaining yet informative video about the challenges of distributing food donations to kids in need with limited transportation resources.
